Mega Millions lottery winning ticket for $297525 still out there somewhere
Someone bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket in Anaheim that matched five out of six numbers for a $297,525 prize.The only problem? That drawing happened three months ago.
And no one has come forward with the winning ticket to claim that money.
The mystery winnermatched the numbers 14, 1, 53, 50 and 35, missing only the Mega number of 43.
And if they wait 90 more days without notifying the state lottery, they'll lose it all. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. This ticket will expire at 5 p.m. Sept. 19.
So who gets the money if no one comes forward? California schools.

For those who do have winning tickets for this or any California Lottery game, prizes under $600 can be paid out at any state lottery retailer where you regularly purchase lottery tickets.
If your prize is $600 or more, the California Lottery tells winners to sign the back of the ticket, keep it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit a local Lottery District Office as soon as possible.
