Independence Day Celebration & Annual Motorcycle Procession for Charity
The Sudz Bernichio Memorial Fund plans to take part in the town of Saint Germainâs annual Independence Day Celebrations by participating in the Parade procession Sunday, July 3, 2011.This will be the third year that the Memorial Fund will be a part of the Parade with motorcycles, trucks, classic cars, golf carts, scooters and foot soldiers and its fourth annual âRidinâ for Sudzâ fund raising event.
Registration and lineup will start at 12:00 pm at the Thunderbird Bar & Grill, Saint Germain, Wisconsin. All motorcycle enthusiasts are welcomed and encouraged to join the procession which will follow the parade route down Highway 70 to the Saint Germain Community Center. Riders will part here and re-group at Sisterâs Saloon, also in Saint Germain, for refreshments and an opportunity to coordinate a day of riding through the Northwoods.
âThis event was designed to share some of Sudzyâs passions, including the enjoyment he got while participating in this Parade. It is a truly rewarding experience planning this event â working to support our community and keeping our biker friendly messages front and center while celebrating a life well lived. I look forward to sharing this day with not only our friends and family, but also with those friends I have yet to meet,â Debbi Golonka, Executive Director, Sudz Bernichio Memorial Fund, stated.
A registration fee will not be charged for participation in the Parade; however, donations are welcomed to support the Sudz Bernichio Memorial Fund, which has made charitable contributions to the American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association, Toys for Tots, and through Madison Area Technical College Foundation, an annual scholarship fund is awarded to students dedicated to thriving, succeeding and reaching their full potential within the automotive and trucking industries. 100% of all donations go directly into the Fund.

About Sudz and the Sudz Bernichio Memorial Fund
The Sudz Bernichio Memorial Fund was created by Sudzâs family to keep his spirit and memory alive through acts of kindness and generosity to those in need and to honor a man who knew no stranger and made no enemy. A master mechanic, Sudz owned and operated his own automobile repair business, Personalized Repair, in Saint Germain, Wisconsin. âI donât want problems, I want solutionsâ, he was often heard saying. In this vein, the Fund will provide solutions for those in need within the community and beyond. A multi-focused charity, the Fund aims to make a positive difference in peopleâs lives by giving assistance or aid in circumstances that reflect Sudzâs many passions, including Toys for Tots and assistance for our nationâs veterans through organizations such as the AVMRA and POWâMIA. The Fund grants charitable contributions to people dedicated to thriving and succeeding, yet need assistance in reaching their full potential, as in the case of a student struggling to continue their mechanical education or a family looking to move forward following a tragic illness or event.

With times being as tough as they are I find that I am being asked for many donations from charities. I intend to donate at least some toys to the toys for tots because no child should be without at least something for the holiday season. Can you imagine waking up on Christmas morning and hoping that Santa brought you something because your family was struggling to make ends meet and you discovered that there was nothing at all? That feeling of emptiness and sadness is pretty harsh on a child. I suppose that’s why I intend to give what I can this season not only to this charity, but to others as well.
credit to which ever corp. or business is holding the drive to which you are giving. credit as in free publicity in a good cause. so keep this in mind if you want to when you donate to toys for tots. many times both a company and a union in that company will be doing drives. stuff like that.
actually, a lot of people or businesses do charity for credit. if they didn’t want credit, they’d do it in secret.
